This Hungarian producer is a new but talented name who has impressed with early releases on Traum
Schallplatten and My Best Friend. Here he cooks up two new offerings, once of which then gets remixed by
Kicking things off is Subliminal Message, nearly eight minutes of intoxicating deep techno. Synths smear about
and add real scale, woozy sine waves add a drunken feel and the rubbery drums are supple and engaging. It’s
a nicely late night offering for cerebral dance floors. Backmask is more direct, with great work on the keys and
plenty of colour and soul in the synths. The drums are elastic and free flowing and really get you going.
Pellon’s remix is a deep and warm take on Backmask that is expertly dubbed out and fluid. It rounds out a fine
EP of very special underground sounds.
